How Often Should You Clean Your Bong?

The simple schedule

  • Change the water: after every session, or at least daily. Old water smells and tastes bad fast.
  • Quick rinse: every 2–3 days for daily users.
  • Deep clean: weekly for daily users, every 2–3 weeks for occasional smokers.

Signs it's overdue

  • Cloudy or yellow water
  • Visible resin on the glass or in the perc
  • Harsh or stale-tasting hits
  • Harder pulls, a sign of clogged holes

Why it matters

Clean glass tastes better, pulls easier and hits smoother. For glycerin pieces, it also keeps the coil's airflow open.
